As we boarded the boat we were greeted by a friendly captain who helped situate us and make sure we were comfortable. From there we set off for a day cruise along the Amalfi Coast, where we got to view the beautiful cities from the water. After that we had a private swim at a secluded island in the most beautiful water we have ever seen before heading down the coast to the most amazing spot for lunch. We finished up with a cruise over to Capri Island and then back to the city of Positano. All the time we were enjoying Champaign, snacks and some of the most beautiful scenery you could ask for. I want to thank and congratulate Mel Martin for arranging a fabulous trip to Italy for my husband and I, and our 2 children aged 10 and 8.
Driving by car from Munich, we had 2 weeks and wanted to see some of the Ligurian coast and Cinque Terre, a well as Venice, Tuscany and Rome.
Mel planned a route that minimized the travelling time, and was the perfect balance between the relaxed fun of the Mediterranean coast, the tranquil beauty of the Tuscan countryside, and the historically and architecturally fascinating major cities.
Mel planned for us a very balanced trip that, in 2 weeks, allowed us to see the places we wanted to visit, and was also a real holiday. From her personal history and experience with Italy she has a wealth of inside knowledge, and is able to show others the real, authentic and charming aspects of Italy that she so much loves herself. She also has a good sense for what her clients are looking for – I would always ask Mel for her ideas on travelling in Italy.
