ROME TRAVEL TIP
One of my all time favourite restaurants in Rome is located near Piazza di Spagna and the world famous Spanish Steps.
GINGER is a contemporary fresh alternative to the traditional trattoria or local Italian restaurant that you will find all over Italy. I also love the traditional eateries, in fact I am crazy about them yet if you have lived in Rome like I have or at least travel there frequently it can be extremely difficult to find a restaurant that serves take-away fresh fruit & vegetable juices and healthy salads full of lots of tasty fruit & veg, and in the winter months they serve delicious home made soups. GINGER has take-away everything that is fresh and also a lovely environment to dine-in.

A bright and elegant bistro style atmosphere inside and alfresco dining on the cobble stone street outside in warmer weather. GINGER serves up fresh local food including salads, gourmet sandwiches for a quick lunch, delicious hot and cold meat dishes and a wonderful selection of cheeses from around the world. I especially love their freshly squeezed juices and smoothies, and as you would expect great coffee plus a selection of cleansing organic tea and heavenly deserts.
A definite tip if you are planning to visit with a group of people, be sure you get there early if you are after a table at lunchtime, Ginger is super popular with the Roman’s for a fashionable & social lunch during the week and I advise booking ahead if you plan on dining here for an aperitif or dinner, they also have a very good wine selection.
