Positano is a heavenly place to be and like all of the beautiful towns on the Amalfi Coast it’s full of local charm, tiny boutiques that are captivatingly full of the perfect holiday gifts, dresses, linen scarves, delicate and memorable souvenirs for the home and lovely little trinkets that you just won’t find anywhere else in the world.
My favourites are the antiques, artwork and the gorgeous locally made little dresses, shorts and t-shirts for the kiddies. The list goes on, sandals embezzled with brightly coloured jewel’s all hand made right there in front of you by the cobblers who are surrounded by the pretty summer shoes draped all over the walls in their tiny little shops.
I love the perfume of Capri – Carthusia have a wide range of oils, candles, incense sticks and the most heavenly scented perfume, I’m crazy about the fragrance Ligea La Sirena, christened with the name of the three sirens that seek to enchant Ulysses the scent is of sensual sweet nectar, feminine and fresh with sexy soft rose and mandarine.
Or another of their wonderful range is IO Capri, a beautiful mixture of sweet fig and wild tea leaves.
