The apartment boasts 3.6 metre high ceilings, enormous rooms and quintessential Venetian views. It is located on the first floor also called ‘piano nobile’ or ‘noble floor’ of a magnificent Palazzo where Venetian nobles used to live and entertain. It is composed of two bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen, two bathrooms and a large living room with balcony.

Amongst the most sort after collection of apartments in Venice, offering a technologically advanced home in a unique, historical setting.  A lush, shared garden, fabulous views on Venice and its canals, high-end design and furnishings, superior technology, and an e-butler make the property an exclusive location in the heart of one of the world’s most cultured cities.

The Palazzo rises majestically on the square in front of the church of S. Agostino. While the Palace’s history is long and intriguing, the lunettes above its windows on the two façades of the building (one on the small square and one on the canal) show more recent allegorical eighteenth century frescoes, returned to their original splendour through painstaking restoration.

Location

Located in the lively and central San Polo district which takes its name from its main square, the largest in Venice after Piazza San Marco and from its church.

The most important area in this district is Rialto, with its bridge, the typical fish and vegetable market and the church of San Giacomo di Rialto, considered the oldest in Venice. Of great architectural and artistic importance are also the Basilica of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari and the Chiesa di San Rocco.

Partially surrounded by the Grand Canal the district is served by the line 1 of the public transportation system through the Vaporetto ACTV stops Rialto Market and San Silvestro. Line 2 also reaches San Polo with the “San Tomà” stop.

Opposite the king-size bed is a large mirror TV and a plump designer chair covered in Italian leather. The colour scheme for this room is light tones of white, with colour accents in the green velvet draperies.

Adjoining is a luxurious windowed bathroom encased in Istrian Stone. High-end finishes include antiqued mirrors, walk-in shower with large water head, custom-made cabinetries. To the left, a large eat-in kitchen with private terrace decked with table and chairs overlooks the expansive gardens. The space is painted in soft hues of beige, which pick up the colour of the Venetian terrazzo floors. Custom-made cabinetry for the kitchen appliances contrasts with a XV Century credenza. An antique Murano glass chandelier accentuates the contemporary vibe of the space.

The apartment’s 35 m2 living room majestically presides over the sleepy canal of San Polo and boasts a stone mantlepiece. Beamed ceilings, oak floors and other surfaces are done in neutral colours in order to maintain visual continuity throughout the space while brown and lilac accents are used to add flair to the colour scheme.

To the left of the living area is the second bedroom with en-suite bathroom, where a french window opens onto a balcony with awe-inspiring vistas on the garden and canal. Dove-grey, brown, and gold are the prevalent colours, with precious Rubelli pillows casually arranged on the sofas and bed.

The bathroom lined in Istrian stone is superbly finished with chrome mixers, a bathtub with shower, custom made cabinetry, Murano glass sconces and antiqued mirrors. A bull’s-eye window affords hypnotic garden views. A TV hides behind the mirrored wall.

The apartment’s interior design features a combination of natural and precious fabrics such as Italian cotton paired with embroidered silk made in Venice. Walls are finished in Venetian plaster, floors are in oak while sconces and lamps are in Murano glass, imbuing the modern space with local accents reminiscent of Venetian living. The overall effect is a stunning display of modern chic.
