From October 26th to 28th you will have the opportunity to witness and participate to the process of turning olives into extra virgin oil. An unmissable experience, where some local expert farmers, guardians of the rural heritage for generations, will walk you through a journey to discover olives.
Together you will follow the stages of the processing of this local fruit: from the visit of an authentic ancient underground oil mill to the not-to-be-missed tasting of extra virgin olive oil. Finally, you will enjoy a traditional dinner dedicated to Puglian recipes based on olive oil and the ever-present breathtaking view of the olive groves and the sea, part of the incredible natural scenery at Borgo Egnazia.
