Red, gold and white are the colours of the upcoming Christmas at Borgo Egnazia. Red like the warmth of the holidays, gold like the richness of Puglia and white like the pureness of the traditions. They will all merge in three days of memorable experiences. A rich calendar of workshops, markets and the discovery of the territory will make the festivities even more magical, in the charming atmosphere of the Piazza and the alleyway’s festive set.
From the 23rd to the 26th of December we will lead you to the authentic and traditional heart of Christmas in Puglia.
The craftsmanship of the artisans, the charm of the markets, the rediscovery of the most ancient “trulli”, the splendour of the traditional “presepi” (native scene) through the narrow streets of Ostuni and the tasting of the traditional flavours. Last but not least, the thrilling final evening with an unprecedented edition of the living : “Merchant in Fiera” (typical Italian card game).
The best flavours of the local tradition will be celebrated during Christmas Eve dinner and 25th December lunch, featuring old recipes and gastronomic interpretations prepared by the property’s Chef – Domingo Schingaro.
