CARTHUSIA is the fragrance of Capri, my favourite Italian perfume sits beside my bed in a very feminine little bottle.
I know I have written about the House of Carthusia before yet with updates in the different products available I thought it was worth a reminder to visit next time you are heading to the island of Capri.
I will always return to Capri on the Amalfi Coast and whilst I am away from this slice of paradise I have a house full of these exquisite perfumes to fill my home and remind me of this slice of heaven the South of Italy.
The house of Carthusia is just a short stroll from the small piazzetta in the centre of Capri.
Lovely fragrances for body and home, I used to adore the oil ‘MARE’ in my home yet on a recent visit I was disappointed to hear that they no longer make the oil for burners. There are plenty of other beautiful home fragrant options such as my daily room spray which is ‘Note di Magnolia’.
The also make the most superb body fragrances, I love my Eau de Toilette Ligea yet there are loads of heavenly fragrances to choose from.

Each time I visit Capri I love to visit the factory boutique and if you are staying in Positano on the main land and can’t make it over to the island there is a pretty little boutique down by the beach with a great selection to choose from.
