How to reach the hotel
By Air: Florence Airport ‘FLR’ (10 km / 6 miles), 20 minutes drive to the hotel. Pisa International Airport ‘PSA’ (83 km / 52 miles), 1 hour drive to the hotel.
By Train: Florence Santa Maria Novella Railway Station is only a 15 min drive to the Hotel. There are trains arriving from Milan, Venice, Rome and Naples.
By Car: Motorway A1, exit “Firenze Sud”. Follow the indications for “Fiesole”. Coming through the town “San Domenico”, look out for indications to Villa San Michele.
By Helicopter: Helicopter transfer to Fiesole and private car to Villa San Michele (15 min)

Superior Junior Suites
Leading out onto a garden and paved terrace, surrounded by laurel hedges for total privacy. Royal yellow Carrara marble lines the walls of the generous bathrooms, with his and hers armoires and double vanities. Each has a private terrace.
Deluxe Junior Suite
Views of the old monastery and Italian gardens they are spacious and lavishly furnished. Access is through a wall-to-wall glass door, which, when fully open, expands the living space out onto the private terrace.

Very large suites located in the gardens with private terrace and a fantastic view over Florence. Beautifully appointed and renovated, they offer separate living rooms and have all comforts. One extra bed may be added in the lounge for children sharing the room with their parents.
Occupying the whole corner of the monastery, with windows overlooking Florence and the Arno Valley and the peaceful sight of the Italian Garden and park – a pole position still today.
A spacious, sunlit sitting room featuring a corner fireplace of exquisite craftsmanship leads into a large, well-appointed bedroom with king size bed, breakfast table and elbow rest chairs.
Inundated by daylight from sunrise to sunset, the Michelangelo Suite stretches the whole length of the facade. Once the monastery library, it became Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte’s headquarters in Florence.
Today the huge, canopied, king-size bed and the exquisite decorations remain fit for an emperor. By far the Villa’s largest and most romantic accommodation, the undivided sleeping and sitting areas stretch behind the whole length of the facade with windows dominating views over Florence, the Arno Valley and the Chianti Hills.
A large fireplace dominates one of the walls, its stone mantelpiece a glory of carved craftsmanship. The bathroom contains a pool-like bathtub and features a separate shower and the finest and softest linen and towels.

Limonaia Suite & Villa
The most dramatic suite in the hotel, located in the 17th century ‘Limonaia’, a separate building in the hotels Italian gardens, the suite enjoys a prime location with breathtaking view over Florence and the surrounding hills.
This historic apartment can be connected on request to a second suite, linked by a staircase, complete with enlarged bathrooms and wardrobes. Beautifully decorated in Tuscan Renaissance style, the panoramic rooms enjoy breathtaking views over the city.
The Limonaia suite is also connected to a third suite via the garden creating a kind of “private villa in the Villa”, a unique haven that is ideal for families, groups of friends, or for a special occasion such as a wedding or exclusive party.
PLUS the private garden now has its own heated plunge pool, made from stone, and a small waterfall that blends in perfectly with the leafy surroundings.
